Percy Jackson - Sea of Monsters is a sequel to the 2010 film Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. The movie continues the adventures of Percy Jackson and his friends to find the golden fleece to save Camp Half-Blood's magical borders from monsters to attack. The film is set for a August 16, 2013 release.
When the magic of Thalia's Pine Tree has been mysteriously poisoned, which protects Camp Half-Blood from monsters, Percy Jackson, the son of Poseidon and his friends must travel to the Sea of Monsters, to save his friend Grover from the cyclops Polyphemus and retrieve the Golden Fleece which will help save Thalia's Tree and the rest of Camp Half Blood.
